The idea of playing a game has always been seen as a negative action because it is believed that video gaming is a waste of time, and it is seen as harmful and not beneficial. However, some studies have shown that video gaming has its benefits. 1-Games can improve hand and eye coordination as well as their accuracy and quick thinking Certain games require the player to concentrate visually and through their ears while simultaneously making sure that they can react to sudden changes within the game physically and able to response to what their seeing and hearing. This also improves quick thinking and their accuracy. 2-It improves problem-solving skills Some games incorporate puzzles and other brain teasers to prevent the player from advancing unless they complete it. 3-It improves memory Having to remember the functions of each button in a controller to move the character within a game is a great way to train your brain to remember. It improves memory. 4-It improves teamwork A lot of the online games places you in a team with other people and you’ll have to work with this team to best the other team and win. This challenges to player to be forced to teamwork rather than playing the game by their self which improves their teamwork skills. 5-It improves multitasking and micromanagement skills Some games require you to keep a constant eye on your ability cooldowns and your health bar and ‘mana’ bar while fighting your opponents. As well as keeping a constant eye on the mini-map to make sure you would not get flanked by another enemy. This constant pressure to micromanage your character improves your multitasking skills.
